Business and Economic Centre is implementing the project “the Dialogue between the Government of Georgia and Non-State Actors on confidence building with Abkhazian and Ossetian sides”. Within the framework of the project, the centre is performing the sub-project “Youth Reaction for Peace Action” with the financial support of the World Bank.

March 27 – April 1, members of “youth Voice” were conducted trainings on conflict issues in Bakuriani. The topics on the training were divided in following sequences: ground rules of trainings; essence of conflict; process of conflict escalation and de-escalation; conflict management strategies and other issues.

This training was the first stage of the project. According to the second stage, different organizations, working on the conflicts will be identified in five regions of Georgia (Batumi, Akhaltsikhe, Zugdidi, Gori and Tbilisi) and the same training will be conducted for youth organizations operating in those regions.
