On March 28, Business and Economic Centre (BEC) hosted the meeting on refugees’ employment issues which was initiated by the advisory-consultative council at the Ministry of Economics of A/R of Abkhazia.

On March 19-23, Business and Economic Centre in cooperation with the Agrarian Issue Committee prepared the expert’s visit in the Parliament of Georgia. The aim of this mission was to help the Agrarian Issues Committee in drafting the law on farmer’s cooperatives.

On January 30, Business and Economic Centre held the meeting, which was organized in the frame of the project Legislative Platform on Agriculture and Food Safety Issues. Aim of the roundtable was to discuss the taxation problems and credit policy in agriculture sector.

On January 18, Business and Economic Centre (BEC) organized the second training in Akhaltsikhe region in cooperation with the international organization “Mercy Corps” and with the financial support of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
